Went for a cool day night trip to Kuala Selangor. The moment we reach there, we could really smell rotten eggs. and bird/dog poo all around the parking area. We passed by a small part of the river and it smelled like human faeces.
I didn’t expect to meet anybody from anyone I know outside church there. But of all people it has to be Terrance Tan Form 4, SMK Seafield, Saxophonist, Electric Guitarist. His first words were “Mahai ah come here?” typical Terrance la =D. shook hands and I went off.
Then we move on to our destination-River View Restaurant. and walked by many many funny-funny smell punya shops. ugghh, lost appetite.
didn’t take photos of the food, cause it’s somewhat enjoyable. =)
oil. dead fish. bad sight.
our beloved birthday girl lady, Aunty Jolene.
sorry Mak. you can hate me now. =) [blame flash]
save the Acheh tsunami children victims Happy Kuala Selangor kids playing rocks and BB guns =)
No more photos as of here. We might scare fireflies to death. but it was awesome. Quite exciting actually when Lynson started rocking the boat and leaning to the right. I was dead scared cause I can’t swim. And according to our firefly-man, it’s 60 feet deep! “Jangan main-main”, he said.
But eventually, we got used to the water. and saw another boat from the same convoy. We shouted “IS DANIEL THERE?“. “NO!” was the reply from Daniel [smart]. then we shouted again “IS AUNTY JO[LENE] THERE?!?!?” Daniel replied “YES!“
Then we sang the happy birthday song for her from the other side of the river.
So another boat came towards us as we head back to shore came. we shouted “IS AUNTY JO THERE?!?” in case Daniel Chai lied. the reply was a big “YES!” so then we sang the birthday song abit, again.
I looked at the guide, he was smiling away at our radical act. although the rule was “do not make noise”.
The 3rd time. Just to make sure, we shouted “ARE YOU THERE AUNTY JO?!?“. the Miss Caryn Wee shouted back “Shut up la Zach!” We sang anyway….
Big thanks to Jack, Suzanne, Caryn, Philip for putting this together. =)
I’ll talk about church, and how I did my Merdeka, later this afternoon. bye-freshy=)
p/s: the colour contrast is an attempt to make my blog more readable, but I guess I failed. Eye-soar abit la reading it.
