a jaunty pace.

10 12 2008

here’s a quickie.
This Christmas, CBC people are to fast giving presents to each other. So what are we gonna’ do with the Christmas presents tabung?

That’s where project C2U comes in, by helping the less fortunate, donating in every nicest form. Be it energy, money, old, usable stuff.

And this week, the Young Adult and College  zone are having a Christmas Carnival @ the SS14 park, also known to locals as Padang Assam, because formerly this park was overgrown with Assam trees. [i think...]

coffee on a Monday, rainy, morning.

8 12 2008

…continue from post below, don’t want to elaborate too much from there, not bad looking bus hostess, american-accent speaking bus conductor, Tokyo Drift on the bus.

Malaysian Custom-Dirty Toilets.

Singaporean Custom-Clean Toilets, Awesome Sensors.

img_4101

This is our first Singaporean experience right after the bus dropped us @ City Hall.

MRT(Mass Rapid Transit), a public transportation that we use half our time spent there, and also what low-medium paid Singaporeans use half their lifetimes.

singapore

This is the route that MRTs go, with this, you can pretty much travel to anywhere in Singapore within minutes.

The Singapore National Library, if you can look close enough, you can see in every floor there are people reading and studying.

Now this, is our National Library. Not sure if this is the renovated version, but it looks like a Islam convention centre.

—————————————————————————————————————————————————

I have loads to elaborate but my mind’s getting lazy over the rainy morning, and the cup of coffee I made.

Let me start with recent happenings and updates.

Last week was normal until it came Saturday, where our State Assemblyman for Subang Jaya, Y.B. Hannah Yeoh was coming to speak to our church youths.

In conjunction with our church’s C2U project, she came to speak about “The Heart for the Community”

She was really professional in her speaking, and you can see that she is a simple lady.

She showed us a chronology slide show of  how God made all this happen in 12 months. And transformed her from a newly wed, law graduate to a young Y.B.

Her husband, Ram, was also a man of God, judging by the way he spoke.

The couple’s heart for the country was put to obvious as they speak to us youths. And also told us how we could help out in the community.

Dang, my fingers are tired again. I didn’t bring my camera that day, but I think she needs a new poster picture in the area. Has been using the same thing since March.. lol

not sure what to do, I’ve rejected going to Sunway Pyramid with the dudes and duddettes, simply cause it’s raining, and I’m lazy.

Yeah, back to business. =D

It’s been a long rest, and now prepare to get streams of information and abundance of clarity.

Maybe not… maybe..

I’m really lazy these days thanks to P.C games, and also because of the thought that I’m going to do so many things starting next week, why do things that will drain my brain?

Well, I need it to start working again, so now I’m just giving what my tank full of iron oxides can give…

Now let’s start shall we?

Pictures are quite big and =.=’, might take a while to load…

Leave this here for a few minutes, and then come back to read.

For better reading experience.

Day 1

Departure/Arrival

img_4054

Our chartered bus picked us up from here.

img_4055

We all love Fridays. But it makes no difference now…

img_4058

I expected some RapidKL type bus, hoho… but this is awesome =O

img_4060

loading the luggage….

Alright, actually that’s all the time I have for Singapore as of now, so pause for a while =D

So today we’re still @ Malaysia. I’ll continue this in a few parts.

If you were on “steam”, I’m sorry to cut that off. muahahahaha

Well, life right now is pretty messy. Renovations going on the back, looks really nice already.

Having loads of stuff to do in mid December, so thinking of chilling with friends right now…

Won’t be celebrating Christmas here with my extended family[church & friends], won’t be here taking my PMR results… And most likely, will be celebrating New Year 2 o o 9 on the plane.

So life’s pretty much all around the place.

Nothing interesting, no point reading me now =D

Alright, off to 3K for sports, which only recently came back to my interest…

Badminton, anyone?

27 11 2008

I’m still worn-out from the trip to Singapore, I’m starting to realize after all these kind of trips, that I’m physically quite unhealthy, I thought by playing lots’ of sports I can endure and swallow anything.

But what I really need is more exercise, and probably do some weights. My arms are failing me.

Feeling all dreadful to blog about Singapore, because it was so overwhelming that I have so many thousands word to describe it, and yet have no more muscle and animation to type!

Give me some time to rest.

And then tonnes of words and pictures of Singaporean food, events, transportation, girls, guys, views, malls, places and prostitutes things we don’t have would be up in no time!

21 11 2008

no pictures cause my sister took the camera when I left my bag in the car… We’re staying @ different location. I’m in Simei.

Using Andrew Chan’s laptop in Tanah Merah for a update, he’s not home, so I could probably take my time…

All is well, Andrew[Chang]’s god-mother treats us super well.

Singaporean food isn’t all that great, but Jay recommended the Mos Burger while we were @ City Hall.

It was really different from any regular fast food/burger we normally eat.

Ok he’s back. i gtg bye

Andrew Chang lied again….

in singapore now, very cool place @ first.

but later on it went very hectic. all the people moving so fast, the MRT…..

but I got to experience real diversity of lifestyle. From the laid back and chilly Malaysian, to a fast-paced, jam-packed Singapore…

the stuff here seem cheap, but you get really upset when you do the math.

short update on the Asia Conference laptop.

need to check mail bye!

rechargeables.

17 11 2008

unless-you-can-jump

Sometimes things in life that doesn’t really matter at all, can be used as a weapon to poke your inner conscience and how you think about yourself.

Recently my mother got a call from a librarian in school, saying that I owe the library about 50 ringgit, because I haven’t gave it back since April.

The thing that was stupid was, the book was titled something like “HOT SPM Biology”. And the other thing stupid was, I never used my library card before. And it says in the record that I borrowed 4 other books with stupid titles and have already given them back.

I don’t know how to settle this, but I know I don’t owe them 50 bucks, and I will make my way through this.

The teacher “Pn. Tan” doesn’t seem to understand that I ain’t an SPM student. why would I bother troubling myself making fun of the librarians =.=

Well forget about that, I don’t care. I’m going off to Singapore early tomorrow to attend the Asia Conference, held by City Harvest Church Singapore. I’ll be there for about 7 days.

Not really excited about it, but what’s bothering me is that the currency exchange from MYR to SD is like crap. 2 Ringgit Malaysia is like 80 cents there.

I’m bringing about 350 Ringgit so you do the math, it’s really just enough to survive 7 days there.

I will be staying at Mark’s god-mother’s place, I hope it’s near the city-square or whatever you call it there. And most importantly internet services would be the best icing on the cake…

My to do/bring list is done, and now I’m off to get a haircut.

salad days.

12 11 2008

salad days=Teen, youthful days.

Well, I am having my salad days right now, and I want to tell my grandsons that “during my salad days…” it was all awesome and exciting. Rather than telling them I spent 16 hours on the computer a day!

So I called up a few guys to go out for a small field day where we share and converse.

We met at Drive-Thru McDonalds SS15 in the morning for breakfast, it was quite awkward at first having a few guys in McD’s.

I knew immidiately that I chose the wrong place to talk!

Thereafter I had to go Subang Parade to check the conditions of my camera, the guy in the shop who carried himself like a pro actually didn’t tell me anything that I didn’t already know, and told me common sense stuff.

But to repair it, it has to take a month, and I’m going to Singapore next week, I can’t afford not taking pictures over there!

And when I come back from Singapore and send it over, 1 month would be until December the 20++ where I will be going to the Philipinnes. And the thing is, the gray spot on my LCD keeps getting bigger and bigger :(

But my day was really nice. Got to talk and get high on CoD4. Thank God I didn’t spend my day on DotA.

And to all SPM students, it’s just day 2, I wish you guys all the bestest all the wayyyy….

how long can you stand in the sun?

9 11 2008

hmm…

I have shortage of cash in hand lately.

This is why I really hate going out on holidays with friends.

Not because I spend like water, but no matter how hard I try to keep my water, it gets evaporated anyhow.

You see, I am a very generous person, by nature, and partly also because I like being around generous people, you feel very casual and free around them. And I like to be that guy.

But on the other hand, I hate to be taken for granted. I am always more than willing to help you when you’re short in any form of things that I am able to give.

But generosity only stands to a certain extent and I can’t afford to go beyond that or I would be Oprah Winfrey.

And being me, I hate to ask for money. Because I hate to see the expressions on people’s faces and the monotonious excuses they give to just to sneak away for a moment. I hate..that.

Some even worse act as if they don’t owe you a cent.

Seriously if you’re gonna’ take me from granted you might as well call me an idiot and take money off my pocket just like that.

I’m not rich, my dad isn’t either. If I look like another rich brat who spends to buy friends, think again, turn around and go find yourself a job.

Note to younger youths:“If you want to go out for lunch, takei, or whatever it is, make sure you have permission from YOUR OWN parents, and make sure that you have enough cash, if not, forget about it, go home.”

I still have my dream guitar to pursue, basketball shoes to buy, 2 countries to visit, Christmas presents to buy[not 4 everyone of course], camera to repair, handphone to change, and a PC to upgrade.

But I’m still happy, I’m not emo, because I get to help teacher tomorrow and at the same time get paid for it. It made my whole day nice =)

Things that made me happy this week:

-Obama, now renamed, President Barrack Obama.

-Man Utd.’s defeat to the Gunners, reloaded.

-A good cell session.

-Awesome, and carefree fun time @ USJ 16.

-Compliments from friends.

-Meeting rusty old besties.

-Someone actually initiated himself to return some cash.

-Being invited by Szegy and Annie.

-Getting paid to do some work for a teacher.

boring post to you, but I liked it.
